Students at Archer School For Girls in Brentwood were among the thousands of school children who walked out of their classrooms on Wednesday morning, as part of a solidarity effort to push for tighter gun controls.

Archer School’s Student Walkout Leadership Committee led a memorial in the school’s courtyard in honor of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School victims.

The national walkouts were timed for 10 a.m. and lasted for 17 minutes to honor the 17 people killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

A human tunnel is formed to welcome the girls back to classes at the end of the 17-minute walkout.
