Famed spoof-director Jerry Zucker’s longtime Brentwood outpost in Mandeville Canyon is on the market for the first time since 1990 at an asking price of $16.5 million.
The classic 1939 Traditional was originally designed by architect John Byers and later updated and enlarged by Michael S. Smith, the interior designer responsible for the most recent redesign of the Oval Office, according to the Agency.
The boomerang-shaped residence measures in at around 10,000 SF with six bedrooms and a dozen bathrooms, plus a 400-SF guesthouse.
Listing agents Ann Eysenring and Billy Rose at The Agency say the home sits on more than 1.6 acres of magical grounds and features several intimate and large scale rooms for entertaining.
The grounds include several gardens, large pool area, outdoor fireplace, and paddle tennis court.
