Los Angeles County Department of Public Health reports one Brentwood COVID-19 death

Los Angeles County health officials have reported the death of a Brentwood resident due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
According to new data from the Los Angeles Department of Public Health (Public Health) as of Monday, May 18 there has been one COVID-19 death among Brentwood residents. 74 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Brentwood as well.
“Many people across our county are experiencing the profound sadness of losing a loved one. Please know, we as a community mourn with you, and you are in our thoughts and prayers every day,” said Barbara Ferrer, PhD, MPH, MEd, Director of Public Health.
Countywide there have been 38,451 positive cases of COVID-19 and a total of 1,839 deaths.
