BCC to hold meeting this Wednesday
The Brentwood Community Council Homelessness Task Force is holding a virtual meeting to discuss answers, strategies, homelessness litigation updates and more.

“Join us for answers, strategies, homelessness litigation updates and next action steps. Ask direct questions of State and Local Reps, Non-profit organizations and service providers,” the BCC says.
According to the BCC, there will be a presentation from the L.A. County Department of Mental Health to about the process and resources available to deal with mentally ill unhoused residents, plus updates from the County of Los Angeles and the VA.
Recently, unhoused veterans have been given access to a safe camping site at the West Los Angeles VA, in a program officially known as the Homeless Veterans CTRS Initiative. In addition, at the Wednesday meeting, the BCC will include a homelessness litigation update, including the impact of homeless related litigation on the County and City of Los Angeles.
