LAFD rescue 40-year-old in distress Monday near Mandeville Canyon

A hiker in distress was hoisted to safety in the Brentwood-area over the weekend.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), dispatchers received a call of a hiker in distress around 3 p.m. on Sunday in the area of 12691 Mountain Crest Lane, in the Mandeville Canyon-area.
The LAFD says Air Ops crews conducted a hoist operation to rescue a man in his 40s experiencing “mild medical distress”.
No further details about the man’s status other than that he survived was released by the LAFD.
