Brentwood Country Mart’s Farmshop recognized by Financial Times
Farmshop at the Brentwood Country Mart is proud to have been named as one of the 50 Greatest Food Stores in the World by the Financial Times.
Farmshop is a bakery and artisan market that was founded by Chef-Owner Jeff Cerciello. Their website says, “The restaurant showcases locally sourced, California-inspired fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bakery offers house-made croissants, muffins and cookies, while the market features a carefully selected assortment of prepared foods, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, produce, wine and beer. Both casual and inviting, Farmshop honors local farmers and artisans in everything on our market shelves and in each dish our culinary team executes.”
You can find fine cheeses from vendors like Cowgirl Creamery, Marin French Cheese and Bellwether Farms. You will find charcuterie and deli items from Alle-Pia Fine Cured Meats,
La Quercia and Fra’Mani Handcrafted Foods. You will find fine local farms like Apricot Lane Farms, County Line Harvest and Marin Sun Farms that contribute fruits, vegetables, meats and fish. Farmshop also does a special called Fried Chicken Sunday, where you can order take-out fried chicken from their restaurant on the day of rest.
You can call the restaurant, send an email or fill out a form on the Fried Chicken Sunday page.
