The Brentwood mansion was purchased by Saget in 2003 and boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a spa room, a guest house, and sprawling yards.
The Brentwood estate of the late comedian Bob Saget has been sold more than a year after his sudden passing.
According to several reports, the home, which boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a guest house, a spa room, and sprawling yards, was sold for $5.4 million in February. The property was originally listed for $7.7 million, but the asking price was lowered to $6.9 million before finally closing at its selling price.
Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo, made the decision to sell the property last June, as it had become too difficult for her to be there after her husband’s passing. Rizzo and Saget tied the knot in 2018 and shared many happy memories in the house with their family.
The 6,600-square-foot estate was purchased by Saget in 2003 for $2.8 million, and its sale was conducted off-market. The former “Full House” star was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, on January 9, 2022, a day after performing a stand-up show.
Friends and former co-stars paid tribute to Saget on the anniversary of his death. However, the sale of his sizeable estate marks the end of an era for the late comedian’s family and loved ones.
