Winston Pies Is Rotating a Favorite Pie Flavor Off the Menu for a Time

You Have Until This Week To Indulge In This Sweet and Delicious Pie

By Dolores Quintana

Winston Pies, renowned for its delectable creations, bids adieu to the beloved Cookie Dough Pie this week. If you haven’t had a slice yet, be sure to savor this fan favorite before it departs. But don’t fret, as you can still enjoy it in the form of an Ice Box Pie or anticipate its return in a few months.

The pie shop’s website describes it, saying, “This is one killer candy bar pie! Chocolate chip cookie crust, light vanilla filling with big gobs of (eggless) cookie dough. It is amazing! Please note that the Cookie Dough Pie is currently exclusively available in our local Los Angeles shops. The shop is eager to explore shipping options in the future, so stay tuned for updates.

Winston Pies crafts exquisite artisanal pies, individually handmade to perfection with all-natural ingredients. Proudly sourced locally and meticulously crafted in the heart of Los Angeles, their pies are the ideal choice for gatherings, gifting, or simply savoring as a special delight. With a range of sizes, they have the perfect pie for every occasion.

The story of Winston Pies is rooted in a cherished family tradition and a deep love for sharing delectable baked treats. Inspired by her upbringing in Winston-Salem, NC, fondly known as “Winston,” Brianna Abrams developed a profound connection to the art of baking amid the region’s warm days and unhurried pace. Her passion for pie-making is an ode to the remarkable women in her family, spanning generations, from great-grandmothers to mothers and sisters.

Together, they bonded over their love for baking, regardless of the reason. What began as a leisurely pastime soon transformed into a full-fledged devotion to crafting exquisite pies, thanks to the abundant fresh fruits at local farmers’ markets and the coastal breeze of Los Angeles. Starting in her own home kitchen, Brianna’s irresistible pies quickly gained a devoted following. Unable to keep up with the growing demand, she officially established Winston Pies in 2017, right in the heart of Brentwood. Since then, Winston Pies has been dedicated to crafting pies that capture the essence of family, tradition, and the joy of savoring something truly exceptional.
