Video Game Tycoon Dave Hagewood Scores Lavish $11.5 Million Brentwood Mansion

Psyonix Founder Dave Hagewood Lands Luxury Brentwood Mansion at a Discount

By Dolores Quintana

Video game designer and entrepreneur Dave Hagewood, founder of Psyonix and creator of the blockbuster game “Rocket League,” has traded the high seas for a luxurious $11.5 million mansion in Brentwood, according to records and The Robb Report. Despite enjoying his tricked-out superyacht adventures, Hagewood has chosen Los Angeles as his more permanent abode.

The recently acquired property, originally listed at $13 million and later reduced to $12 million, was purchased as a bit of a bargain by Hagewood and his wife Danielle. Built in 2019 by luxury developer Ramtin Ray Nosrati of Huntington Estate Properties, the mansion boasts six bedrooms and nine baths within its 9,300 square feet of living space. The three-story structure, hidden behind gates and expansive hedges on a cul-de-sac parcel built on nearly a third of an acre, features bespoke light fixtures, smart-home technology, and an array of fireplaces and water elements.

The main level showcases a living room with a veined-marble fireplace, Fleetwood doors opening to a terrace, and a lawn for al fresco entertaining. The property also includes a waterfall-clad dining area, a fireside family room, and a gourmet kitchen with Italian cabinetry and top-tier Miele appliances. The upper level houses a master retreat with a custom fireplace, wraparound balcony, and spa-like bath.

The lower level’s centerpiece includes a four-TV video wall, a back-lit onyx bar, a gym, a movie theater with stadium seating, and a 1,000-bottle wine cellar. Outdoors, the backyard features an infinity-edge pool and spa, while the roof deck flaunts a bar and fire pit, adding a touch of glitz to Hagewood’s new Brentwood haven.
