LAPD West LA Hosts Immediate Meeting for Burglary Prevention Tips
By Dolores Quintana
The Brentwood Community Council sent out a newsletter notice this afternoon to inform residents of an LAPD Townhall to address a recent rise in burglaries.
In response to a recent surge in burglaries on the Westside, the West Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is organizing a last-minute town hall meeting to address community concerns and share burglary prevention tips. The virtual meeting will take place tomorrow, December 21, 2023, at 6:30 pm via Zoom.
The message from LAPD West LA Community Relations Officer (CRO) states:
“Good Afternoon. I apologize for such a late notice. I met with our Burglary Detectives, and we decided it would be best to have a quick Townhall meeting to discuss the recent increase in burglaries we have experienced here on the Westside. Our West LA Burglary Detectives would like to touch on and pass along some burglary prevention tips. This meeting is being set up earlier than later to address the concerns prior to the upcoming holiday when most people might be out of town or away from their residence attending holiday gatherings.”
