Hollywood Producer’s Cinematic Home: Brentwood Masterpiece Hits Market at $17.75 Million

From Silver Screen to Rooftop Views: “Seinfeld Producer’s Modern Hideaway for Sale

Seinfeld Hollywood producer Andrew Scheinman, who is also the creative force behind popular productions such as “A Few Good Men” and “When Harry Met Sally,” has transitioned from crafting film blockbusters to creating a stunning residence in Los Angeles, as reported by Mansion Global.

Co-owner of Castle Rock Entertainment alongside Rob Reiner, Scheinman, 75, constructed a six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in the prestigious Lower Mandeville Canyon section of Brentwood. The property, a collaborative effort with Los Angeles architects Rockefeller Kempel, boasts a contemporary design, covering 7,200 square feet. The home has a boxy look, and Scheinman’s brother Adam is an investor in the project.

“This is the third house my brother and I have built together,” Scheinman revealed. “Once I was out of the film business, I thought this was a nice creative outlet.” Completed after five years of construction, the custom-built residence officially entered the market last week with a listed price of $17.75 million. The exclusive listing is managed by David Kramer of Hilton & Hyland/Forbes Global Properties and Paul Czako of Gussman Czako Estates.

When conceptualizing the home’s design, the Scheinman brothers sought a balance between modern aesthetics and warmth, opting for a cozy ambiance despite the presence of extensive glass elements. Adam Scheinman personally crafted the interiors, focusing on wood, stone, and color selections.

Positioned in the coveted Lower Mandeville Canyon on a small cul-de-sac, the property boasts rooftop ocean views and a strategic layout for privacy. Kramer, who is co-listing the property, emphasized the appeal of a semi-private driveway leading to a gated entrance and a concealed garage.

To further enhance privacy, the Scheinman brothers invested in landscaping, planting 150 trees and lush greenery around the property. Lower Mandeville Canyon is renowned for its elite residents, including music producer Scooter Braun, former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Hollywood luminaries like Harrison Ford, Reese Witherspoon, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Listing agent Kramer, who previously facilitated a $53 million sale “up the street” in 2022, noted the exclusivity of the area, affirming its appeal to high-profile individuals seeking privacy and luxury in the heart of Brentwood.
