Storytime, STAR Reader Sessions, and Kindergarten Prep Activities
Scheduled events for this week at the Brentwood Library include Toddler/Preschool Storytime on Wednesday, March 27, at 10:30 am and 11:30 am, followed by STAR Reader Bonnie from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On Thursday, March 28, Brick-Building Playtime will be from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by STAR Reader Camille from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The Brentwood Library is gearing up for the Los Angeles Public Library’s Get Ready for Kindergarten initiative, which aims to enhance the school readiness skills of children aged 3 to 5. This week’s program at the Brentwood Library will focus on Math & Science, offering participants a storytime followed by a collaborative craft-making session.
On Saturday, March 30, at 11:00 am, the Get Ready for Kindergarten program, tailored for children aged 3 to 5, will be held.
The initiative, spanning across LAPL branches, aims to provide young children with the foundational skills needed for a successful transition to kindergarten.
