Video Captures Bumpy Landing at Los Angeles International Airport
A Lufthansa Airlines Boeing 747 encountered some difficulties during its landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Tuesday, April 23, as reported by USA Today.
Video footage from the YouTube channel Airlines Videos Live showed smoke rising from the tarmac and the wheels bouncing upon touchdown. Following the rough landing attempt, the plane ascended again, flying briefly before completing a successful landing, which is known as a “touch and go” landing.

That is the roughest landing I think we’ve ever caught on our broadcast.” Ray owns the channel where he chronicles the action at LAX as jet airplanes take off and land daily.
According to LAX’s website, the Boeing 747-8 Lufthansa flight was scheduled to arrive at LAX around 1 p.m. ET after an over 11-hour journey from Frankfurt, Germany. LAX and Lufthansa have not responded to requests for comment.
