Hollywood Couple Is Selling Their Stylish Midcentury-Modern Residence
Actress Alexandra Daddario and her husband, film producer Andrew Form, have put their Brentwood home on the market for just under $3 million. The couple purchased the property in spring 2023 for $2.8 million, nearly a year after buying a midcentury-modern fixer-upper in Los Angeles designed by architect Allen Siple. Daddario currently stars in the AMC series The Mayfair Witches and has appeared in True Detective and White Lotus.
The residence was built in the late 1950s by Matt Kivlin, a former surfer who became an architect. Its previous owners extensively renovated the home from its original state, but documentary director Lacey Uhlemeyer and her engineer husband, Rendell Johnson, returned it to its design and architectural roots. The 2,418-square-foot home, which appeared in an April 2022 issue of Architectural Digest, sits on a steep hillside in the Mandeville Canyon neighborhood.
The two-story, treehouse-like structure features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and open-plan living spaces. The first level includes a storage area, a bedroom that can serve as an office, and a two-car garage. The main living area on the upper level boasts blonde hardwood floors and post-and-beam ceilings. The combined living and dining area is separated by a large wood-burning fireplace with glazed Fireclay Tile and opens to a wraparound deck through sliding glass doors.
The adjacent kitchen is equipped with oak cabinetry, a terrazzo tile backsplash, golden-hued marble countertops, and stainless steel appliances. It connects to a den with a green shag carpet, providing a cozy space for relaxation.
The primary suite features a bathroom with dual vanities, a glass-encased wet room with a rainfall shower, and a Japanese-style hammered copper soaking tub. Two guest bedrooms share a bathroom adorned with pink and marigold tiles.
