Brentwood Community Council Thanks LAPD for Enhanced Presence
The Brentwood Community Council emailed the community to update them about the Los Angeles Police Department’s increased presence in the area due to the recent rise in crimes.
The email showed photos of LAPD-mounted patrols in the neighborhood and that police held their roll call on Thursday in Brentwood. The email stated, “Thank you, LAPD!”
BCC also apologized to anyone in Brentwood who could not attend the meeting virtually, as demand was high. However, BCC noted that for those unable to make it (or unable to get in—our sincerest apologies), the meeting can be viewed here: crimeinbrentwood. There is also a link to the recording on the BCC website.
The message also reminded residents, “While LAPD patrols have been enhanced, our best results happen when we partner with LAPD in deterring crime. Each action we implement will pay off for everyone. Time is not the burglars’ friend, so the goal is to make it tougher and take longer to enter your home. Ideally, the burglar gives up before they ever enter your home.”
