Brentwood Weekly Crime Report: October 27, 2024– November 3, 2024

SLO Matthew Kirk has released the crime report for the last week of October and the first week of November. Six crimes occurred in the Brentwood neighborhood during this time. 

Burglary:

10-27-24 2020 Hrs / 10-28-24 0825 Hrs, 1900 Block of N. Sepulveda Blvd, Suspects forced open a door and removed property. The property taken was lawn/ gardening equipment.

10-28-24 0055 Hrs, 11600 Block of Barrington Court. The suspect smashed the front glass window and removed an iPad from the business. The suspect was described as a white male with brown hair, 5’10, 160 lbs, and unknown age. The suspect was wearing a black jacket, pink shirt, black, white, and red plaid pajamas.

11-02-24 1750 Hrs, 700 Block of S. Moreno Ave, suspects entered the backyard of the residence and looked inside of windows. The homeowner retrieved a handgun, walked out to the balcony, and fired two rounds into the grass area to scare off the suspects. The suspects fled the location. 

Robbery:

10-31-24 1150 Hrs, 12000 Block of Wilshire Blvd, the suspect entered the store, removed items, and attempted to leave without paying. An employee confronted the suspect and attempted to grab onto the shopping cart to prevent the suspect from taking items. 

The suspect fell to the ground when suspect #2 took out a gun from a guitar case and pointed it at the employee from approx. 20 feet away. Both suspects fled on foot West on Goshen. Suspect #1 was a white male, 6’0”, 30 years of age with a tattoo of an outline of the state of California on his cheek. Suspect #2 was a white male, 5’3”, 30 years of age.

GTA (Grand Theft Auto

(Late Report) 10-24-24 2130 Hrs, Sunset/Church, a 2020 Lexus ES 350 sedan was taken from the street. The victim was involved in a traffic collision and walked away from the vehicle to call 911 at which time an unknown suspect took the vehicle.

11-01-24 1400 Hrs–1600 Hrs, 400 Block of N Carmelina, a 2024 Mercedes SUV was taken from the street.
