Taco Restaurant Bringing Its Mexican-Inspired Flavors and Cocktails Further West
Tu Madre, the popular Los Angeles-based taco chain, is preparing to expand once again, bringing its vibrant flavors to Brentwood. The new location at 11714 San Vicente Blvd. will occupy the former Côte Beauty space, according to What Now Los Angeles. The local restaurant group has recently filed a liquor license application.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
The Brentwood expansion marks a milestone for owner Joshua Pourgol, who has successfully grown Tu Madre from its first location in Westwood to additional sites in Larchmont, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Los Feliz. The Los Feliz branch shuttered, and Pourgol opened a new restaurant GuacDaddy in its place, that has proved popular with Los Feliz residents.
Once open, the new restaurant will serve a wide array of tacos, burritos, and other dishes inspired by Mexican cuisine. Fan favorites include street tacos, burrito bowls, and an all-day breakfast menu featuring both tacos and burritos. Vegetarians will find plenty of options, with a variety of plant-based tacos and burritos available.
The menu will also feature a curated selection of cocktails, including handcrafted margaritas that complement the vibrant flavors of the food.
