Special Storytime, Weekly Events, and More Await Children and Families
As the holiday season kicks off, the Brentwood Library is offering a variety of special events and regular programming for children and families.
On Monday, Dec. 2, at 10:30 a.m., the library will host a guest-led storytime for children up to age 3. This one-time event will feature songs and stories led by the Children’s Librarian from the Palms-Rancho Park Library. Unlike the regular Wednesday storytime sessions, no tickets will be required. Families are encouraged to join in for this festive storytelling experience.
The library also offers recurring programs for children and their caregivers:
- Tuesdays, 3:00–4:30 p.m.: Caregiver & Kid Language Learning
- Thursdays, 3:00–4:00 p.m.: Brick Building Playtime (except Thanksgiving week)
- STAR Volunteer Reading Sessions: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 3:00–5:00 p.m.
Library staff are planning additional special programs for children throughout the holiday season, with announcements to follow. Additionally, a new Children’s Librarian is expected to join the team soon.
