CAL FIRE Clears Some But Not All Circuits for Re-Energization Today
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) announced earlier today after repopulation was opened in the area east of Kenter in Brentwood that CAL FIRE Unified Command has authorized the re-energization of the electrical circuit serving Encino and portions of circuits serving Brentwood, which had been without power due to fire-related outages.
LADWP crews are now working to restore power to affected customers as quickly and safely as possible.
However, some circuits remain de-energized and will not be reconnected until Unified Command determines it is safe to do so. LADWP crews remain in direct communication with CAL FIRE and other agencies through Unified Command and will provide updates as conditions evolve.
Returning residents who find that their power is still out while their neighbors’ has been restored are advised to first reset their circuit breaker. If power remains off, they should contact LADWP customer service at 1-800-DIAL-DWP (1-800-342-5397) for further assistance.
