Brentwood Crime Report: February 1, 2025 – February 8, 2025

For the first week of February 2025, Senior Lead Officer Matthew Kirk has written the newest list of crimes committed in the neighborhood. The crimes are thefts of property rather than violence, although one victim interrupted the crime in progress. 

Burglary:  

02-02-25 20:10 Hrs, 11900 Block of Gorham Ave, suspects(s) smashed side window and entered the residence. The suspects(s) removed a safe containing U.S. currency and jewelry.  

02-07-25 19:50 Hrs, 100 Block of N. Bowling Green Way, Suspects(s) smashed the first-floor balcony glass door and entered the residence. The suspects(s) ransacked the master bedroom and removed the property. The property taken was jewelry. 

02-07-25 18:10 Hrs – 19:00 Hrs, 12300 Block of Ridge Circle, Susp(s) forced open bathroom window and entered the residence. Susp(s) opened safe and ransacked the residence. Unknown what property was taken at the time of the report. 

02-08-25 20:00 Hrs, 12800 Block of Chalon Rd, Victim stated that they had arrived home after being gone for over 30 days. The victim and witness walked upstairs and observed two unknown males who immediately fled out second-story balcony. Victims waited for police to conduct a search of the residence. Suspects ransacked numerous rooms and fled with property. The property taken was jewelry and handbags. The suspects were described as two male Hispanics between 25 and 35 years of age. 

02-08-25 19:45 Hrs, 11500 Block of W. Sunset Blvd, Suspects(s) entered apartment through side window. The suspects(s) removed the property and fled the location. The property taken was a laptop computer.

None reported 

BFMV (Burglary from motor vehicle)/ TFMV (Theft from Motor Vehicle)  

02-05-25 20:00 Hrs / 02-06-25 08:30 Hrs, 11700 Block of Darlington Ave, suspects(s) entered an UNLOCKED vehicle parked on the street and removed property. The property taken was a stroller.

Theft:  

02-05-25 16:55 Hrs, 400 Block of N. Bonhill Rd, Suspect removed a package from the front porch of the residence.  

02-06-25 16:00 Hrs, 11700 Block of San Vicente Blvd, Suspect entered the store, selected numerous pieces of clothing, and fled the location without attempting to pay for items.
