The Latest List of Crimes Committed in the Brentwood Area

After a relatively light week for Brentwood, the number of crimes, some serious property crimes, has risen again. Burglaries, burglaries from motor vehicles, and Grand Theft Auto have been committed in the neighborhood over the last week.
Burglary:
04-07-25 0:40 Hrs, 1500 Block of Amalfi Drive, Suspect entered the residence, which is for sale, through a possibly unlocked door. The owner was alerted by the security camera and phoned the police. LAPD responded and took the suspect into custody. No property was taken.
04-11-25 18:15 Hrs – 22:30 Hrs, 100 Block of S. Woodburn Drive, Susp(s) forced open back door and entered residence. Suspect(s) ransacked numerous rooms and removed property. The property taken was handbags.

04-11-25 07:45 Hrs, 800 Block of S. Barrington Ave, Suspect(s) removed rear license plate from a 2018 Lexus parked on the street.
GTA (Grand Theft Auto
04-10-25 23:00 Hrs / 04-11-25 0625 Hrs, 500 Block of South Barrington Ave, a 1997 Ford truck was taken from the street.
Theft:
04-06-25 19:30 Hrs – 13:50 Hrs, 11600 Block of Goshen Ave, Suspect gained access to the parking garage and forced open the storage locker. Suspect removed a camera cart and fled in a gray or silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
