Mid-April Crime Snapshot: Burglaries, Vehicle Theft Lead Reports

Matthew Kirk, SLO in Brentwood, has compiled a new list of crimes that took place in the neighborhood in the middle of April. The number of break-ins and thefts hasn’t increased noticeably, but there is still criminal activity to take note of.
Burglary:
04-18-25 23:05 Hrs – 00:25 Hrs, 12000 San Vicente Blvd, Suspects smashed front window of gas station and ransacked business. Suspects removed property and fled in a white Toyota Matrix. Property taken was cigarettes, lottery tickets, and U.S. currency.
04-19-25 22:15 Hrs, 12200 Block of Montana Ave, Suspect forced open balcony slider and entered apartment. The suspect then kicked the bedroom door and was confronted by the resident. The suspect then fled from the location. Suspect #1 was described as a male, white, approximately. 5’7” and 25 years of age. Suspect #2 only described as a male 5’5” approx. 20 years old. No property taken.

04-13-25 18:00 Hrs / 04-14-25 08:00 Hrs, 11600 Goshen Ave, suspects(s) entered the parking garage and removed a car stereo from an unlocked vehicle.
