Hi Bake will offer a fusion of French and Asian pastries, including croissants filled with molten chocolate or wagyu beef
A popular Chinese bakery, Hi Bake, will open its first U.S. location in Beverly Hills on July 17, bringing its signature wagyu croissants and custard tarts to the area, LA Eater reported.
The bakery, founded in Hong Kong in 2012 and now based in Chengdu, has grown to 60 stores across China and will partner with the Chubby Group, known for restaurants like Niku X, for its American debut.
Located at 235 N. Canon Drive, Hi Bake will offer a fusion of French and Asian pastries, including croissants filled with molten chocolate or wagyu beef, and tarts in flavors like strawberry and pistachio.
Savory toasts topped with red bean, meat floss, pork jerky, and coconut will also be available, Eater reported.
