Paella Night Premieres at Telefèric Barcelona With Live Cooking and Sangria
Telefèric Barcelona, a family-owned Spanish restaurant group with roots in Barcelona, will host its first “Paella Night” on Sept. 21, offering diners across California an immersive culinary celebration of one of Spain’s most iconic dishes.
The event, timed to coincide with National Paella Day, will be held at all five of the restaurant’s California locations — Walnut Creek, Palo Alto, Los Gatos, Los Angeles, and Long Beach. Guests will enjoy unlimited tastings served tableside, live chef presentations, and a rotating menu of creative paella dishes designed to be shared with family and friends.
You do have a while to reserve a spot before the 21st, but I checked and tickets are selling well and quite a few times are already sold out.
Inspired by the continuous service style of Brazilian rodizio dining, Paella Night will showcase a variety of dishes, from classic seafood paellas to exclusive, limited-time creations such as octopus paella. Each paella will be presented at live cooking stations, where chefs will share the story behind the dish and its cultural significance.
The evening will also include bottomless sangria and a selection of traditional Spanish sides, including jamón serrano, pan con tomate, and empanadas.
Since opening its first U.S. location in Walnut Creek in 2015, Telefèric Barcelona has expanded to seven restaurants, including two in Barcelona. The group has three additional locations in development in Roseville, La Jolla, and Scottsdale, Arizona. Known for introducing authentic tapas, pintxos, and paellas to the West Coast, Telefèric Barcelona blends tradition with innovation to create vibrant, communal dining experiences.
Paella Night will be offered at a set price with a fixed menu. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made through OpenTable or Eventbrite.
