Brentwood Science Elementary (BSM) is representing Los Angeles elementary schools in the America’s Favorite School competition (it is the top ranked LA school by votes). The science magnet school has gone from 30th place to 4th place in one week. Currently the top school is from New York – BMS needs approximately 3500 more votes (it now has about 3300 votes) to match and surpass them. As of May 19, BSM is 100 votes from 3rd place, 2800 from 2nd!
Care2 is partnering with GreatSchools.com to announce a new way for parents, educators, and communities to rally around their school. From April 12 through May 21, anyone can vote in the America’s Favorite School contest to help their favorite school win $20,000.
Please take a moment to vote today and spread the word for Brentwood Science Magnet to all your friends and contacts! This is a great cause for Los Angelenos who want to support our elementary schools.
