Actress and Entrepreneur Katie Nehra Buys Secluded Brentwood Ranch House for $11 Million

Sullivan Canyon Community in Brentwood Welcomes a Traditional and Charming Single-Story Ranch House

Katie Nehra, who considers herself a “millennial Martha Stewart without the apron,” recently purchased a new home in the Sullivan Canyon community on the border of Brentwood and Pacific Palisades as an all-cash deal for $11 million as reported by The Dirt.com. Although she already owns a multimillion-dollar property in the Hollywood Hills, Nehra was drawn to the horse-friendly area and the ultra-private and secluded nature of the new property, which is tucked so far up into the hills that it backs up to a much larger estate that previously belonged to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.

Built in 1951 and recently updated, the single-story ranch house features four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, large windows, and vaulted ceilings, all of which create a casual and traditionally charming vibe. In addition to the all-new chef’s kitchen with premium appliances, the home also boasts a fireplace-equipped living room, a dedicated office attached to the two-car garage, and white oak hardwood floors throughout, including into the very minimalist master bedroom and its ensuite bathroom.

The grounds of the property feature grassy lawns shaded by mature olive, oak, and sycamore trees, a classic kidney-shaped swimming pool with an inset spa, and horse stables, which Nehra will undoubtedly use since she is a lifelong equestrian.

Raised in Baltimore, Nehra is also an actress, screenwriter, and podcaster who has appeared at dozens of industry events over the years. She recently acquired the property from her father, who had purchased it just two months prior for $10.5 million.

Nehra’s father is John Nehra, who is known as a “retired venture capitalist” who is now working as an independent director of healthcare giant DaVita as well as being a majority. John Nehra actually sold the home to his daughter after purchasing it earlier this year.
