Modern Farmhouse in Beverly Crest Returns to Market with Lower Price Tag
Cameron Diaz has reduced the asking price of her Beverly Crest estate by $1.3 million, relisting the Benedict Canyon Drive property for just under $16.5 million. Originally offered at $17.8 million in summer 2023, the modern farmhouse returned to the market on Friday, according to a listing by Brett Lawyer of Carolwood Estates.
The seven-bedroom residence, located in the exclusive neighborhood, was home to Diaz, her husband, and Good Charlotte musician Benji Madden, and their daughter. The couple reportedly chose to move on from the home following the recent birth of their second child, Cardinal. Sources told People magazine they were ready to “let go” of the property in favor of another residence within their Los Angeles real estate portfolio.
Diaz, 52, purchased the custom-built estate for $14.7 million in 2020. The property is one of several homes in her collection, which previously included a Sunset Strip house sold to singer Ariana Grande in 2022.
The estate sits on a 1.7-acre lot surrounded by dense greenery and features extensive outdoor amenities, including hillside walking paths, multiple lounge spaces, a barbecue terrace, and a gated motor court accessed via a winding driveway. According to the listing, a pool area with a child-safe waterfall, fountain, and fire pit provides a secluded retreat behind the home.
Inside, the home emphasizes volume and light. A spacious great room boasts soaring ceilings, exposed beams, and oversized picture windows. Interior design highlights include brass kitchen fixtures, bold marble countertops, limewashed walls, and richly hued custom cabinetry.
Diaz’s representatives did not comment regarding the relisting.
