1950s mansion was designed by Allen Siple

Actress Alexandra Daddario and her husband, film producer Andrew Form have purchased a new home in Brentwood as reported by The Dirt.com. The mansion was built in the 1950s by noted architect Allen Siple. Originally, the home was listed for sale for a little less than $8.7 million but in the cooling real estate market, Daddario and Form purchased the property for $7.6 million.
The estate has been renovated, most recently in the 90s and is now a two-story edifice. The home has three bedrooms and four bathrooms within 5,000 square feet of space. According to The Dirt, the home is “an unusual mix of eras and dated design trends; the skylit kitchen has granite countertops and burnt yellow cabinets, wall-to-wall carpeting anchors both the master bedroom and bathroom, there are red Japanese-style front doors, and the great room offers a timber ceiling with an original brick and stone fireplace.” The home has glass walls and a great view that can allow you to see the ocean on a clear day.
There is a three-car garage and the outdoor areas have gardens with fully-grown eucalyptus trees, a swimming pool and a cabana.
