Portrait artist Zhenya Gershman’s portrait of rock icon Bruce Springsteen.will be featured at the sold out 2013 MusiCares pre-Grammy gala, one of the most prestigious ceremonies held during Grammy Week. The gala honors Bruce Springsteen this year and will feature Jackson Browne, Kenny Chesney, Emmylou Harris, Faith Hill, Jim James, Elton John, Juanes, John Legend, Natalie Maines, Tim McGraw, Tom Morello, Mumford & Sons, Patti Smith, Sting, Eddie Vedder, Neil Young and others who will perform in The Boss’ honor.
Attendees will be able to enjoy Springsteen’s visage no matter where their seats thanks to portrait artist Zhenya Gershman work.
Gershman’s portraiture seeks to capture the true essence of her subjects which necessitates research and forced the artist to grapple with which “Springsteen” to pain

Gershman’s dilemma resulted in several new works of the superstar that reflect her search, which she calls her “Bruce Springsteen Series†one of which is on view at Leslie Sacks Fine Art, 11640 San Vicente Blvd in Brentwood in a group exhibition benefiting “Women’s Voices Now,†through February 24th.
