South Brentwood Residents Association is holding its 44th Annual General Meeting from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, October 8th via Zoom. The meeting is free and open to the public, but registration is required and available at http://www.southbrentwood.org/category/events/. The meeting will include presentations by Senator Ben Allen, Councilmember Mike Bonin, West LAPD Captain Jonathan Tom and others with an opportunity to submit questions to the speakers on the issues that are affecting you and our community!
In case you’re not familiar with us, SBRA is an all-volunteer, nonprofit corporation and represents more than 18,000 residents who live in condos, apartments or multi-family dwellings anywhere in Brentwood as well as all residents living in the area south of San Vicente Blvd., north of Wilshire Blvd., east of Centinela Ave. and west of Federal Ave.
The meeting will begin at 6:45 with a brief presentation of this year’s slate of candidates for SBRA officers and the Board of Directors. Then from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. we are proud to present the following speakers:
• Ben Allen, California State Senator, 26th District
• Mike Bonin, Los Angeles City Councilmember, District 11
• West LAPD Captain Jonathan Tom and West LAPD Senior Lead Officer Matt Kirk
• Michele Aronson, Brentwood Community Council San Vicente Business District Representative
• Nwaoha Lumumba, LADWP Electrical Engineer, Modernization Projects
