Children’s Storytime Will Resume on April 2 Before Library Makeover
The Donald Bruce Kaufman Brentwood Branch Library has announced temporary changes to its programming schedule ahead of a major renovation project set to begin in mid-April.
Library officials confirmed that regular storytime sessions will be on hiatus for the next two weeks, with plans to resume on Wednesday, April 2, at 10:30 a.m. However, just weeks later, the library will temporarily close its doors for extensive renovations beginning Monday, April 14.
The renovation project is expected to last several months, and during this time, the library’s regular children’s programming—including storytimes, performances, and volunteer-led reading sessions—will be unavailable at the Brentwood branch.
Library staff have assured patrons that alternative children’s programs will be available at nearby branches, with details on upcoming storytimes, performances, and activities to be shared in the coming weeks.
“We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we undergo these necessary renovations,” a library spokesperson said.
