Brentwood Healthcare Center has 10 COVID-19 cases, according to county

A nursing home near the Brentwood border has seen multiple COVID-19 cases, according to county health officials.
According to data from the Los Angeles Department of Public Health (Public Health), there have been 10 confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Brentwood Healthcare Center, located at 1321 Franklin Street in Santa Monica. The facility, which is just a block away to the Brentwood border, has seen seven cases among staff and three cases among residents.
Brentwood News has reached out to Brentwood Healthcare Center for information on what it is doing to curtail the spread of the virus but the facility could not immediately be reached for comment.
As of Thursday, there have been 74 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brentwood and one death, according to Public Health. Countywide there have been 42,037 cases and 2,016 deaths.
