Brentwood Arts Commission Meeting to Discuss Local Arts Initiatives

Public Invited to Participate In-Person or Remotely via Zoom and Email

The City of Brentwood Arts Commission has posted the agenda for its upcoming meeting on its website. Members of the public are invited to participate in the meeting in person or remotely. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m.

Those who wish to attend the meeting in person may do so by providing in-person comments in the Council Chambers. They may fill out a speaker card if they wish, but it is not required. Seating will be available for members of the public to attend in person, up to full seating capacity.

Remote participation is also available through Zoom. The Zoom Webinar ID is 872 0364 9910, and there are several Zoom phone numbers available. During the meeting, each period for public comment will be announced, and participants may use the “Raise Hand” feature on Zoom to request to speak. If calling in via Zoom, use *9 to raise and lower your hand. The meeting host will call on participants by name and enable their microphone when it is their turn to speak.

To ensure the orderly administration of the meeting using this method, providing your name is encouraged, but not required. If participants need instructions on how to use this feature, they can contact the Recreation Manager by noon of the meeting date at artscommission@brentwoodca.gov or 925.516.5359.

Public comments can also be submitted via e-mail to artscommission@brentwoodca.gov. Any public comments received up until 3:00 p.m. of the meeting date will be distributed to the Commission via email before the meeting, posted online for public inspection at Public Comments, and later summarized in the meeting minutes. As e-mails containing public meeting comments are part of the official record, note that personal contact information may be published if it is included with the e-mail.

For those who only wish to watch or listen to the meeting, a one-way video feed is available by selecting the video option on the Agendas link on the City webpage at www.brentwoodca.gov.For additional information, contact the Recreation Manager at artscommission@brentwoodca.gov.
