The meeting, held via Zoom, will provide updates on recovery efforts and address questions about the fire’s ongoing effects, including public safety, traffic, and restoration timelines for the Pacific Palisades. Residents are encouraged to submit questions in advance by emailing info@bcc90049.org by noon on Monday.
Councilwoman Park’s office is working to ensure representatives from key agencies are available during the meeting to provide expert insights and answers to community concerns.
“Recovery will be a long road for our neighbors in the Pacific Palisades, many of whom have lost everything,” the Council said in a statement. “We know residents also have questions about how this will impact Brentwood.”
The National Weather Service of Los Angeles has issued a flood watch from 4:00 p.m. Sunday until Monday afternoon due to concerns about potential debris flows in burn areas. Residents should note that sand and sandbags are available at the Brentwood fire station located at Sunset Boulevard and Gretna Green Way.
