
Each year, at the regular January Brentwood Community Council (BCC) meeting, or at the December BCC meeting if no meeting is scheduled for January, the Chair appoints a Representation Committee of no less than three Members to serve for the calendar year. The responsibility of the Representation Committee includes the review of candidates for a position as Representative or Alternate for a Stakeholder Organization (other than a homeowner association), or candidates for Member-at-Large and Alternate Member-at-Large, and to make recommendations to the voting Members.
To apply to be a Representative/Alternate on the BCC Board, please do the following:
1. Log on to www.brentwoodcommunitycouncil.org
2. Open TAB “About the BCC”
3. Open “BCC Seat Application” and read descriptions for Representative/Alternate for Public and Private School, Multi-Family Housing, Public Safety, Environmental, San Vicente Business District, Ministerial/Congregational, NonProfit/Civic/Cultural, Member-at-Large
4. If interested in being on a Standing Committee, indicate on the same application.
• Applications will be received until December 1, 2015.
• Interviews will be scheduled in December and January.
• Selections will be made before the February 2, 2016 BCC meeting.
