August 28th Session to Focus on Home Security and Community Strategies
Brentwood residents are invited to participate in a special Zoom meeting on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. to discuss strategies for combating crime in the community. The online meeting that the Brentwood Community Council will host will focus on “home hardening” tips and crime prevention tactics, such as Neighborhood Watch programs and private patrols, that various Homeowners Associations (HOAs), neighborhoods, and streets are implementing to protect homes and families.
While increased police presence in the area has been noted, organizers emphasize the importance of collective community action to deter crime effectively. The meeting will provide a platform for residents to share their experiences and learn from one another about effective crime prevention measures.
