BCC Will Present Awards At The Next BCC Meeting On Wednesday, May 10
According to an email from The Brentwood Community Council, on Wednesday, May 10th, the Brentwood Community Council will present the Student Citizen Award to Janessa N. from University High School, Peter G. from Palisades Charter High School, Delara T. from The Archer School for Girls, and Maverick A. from Brentwood School. The email states, “Some special students and their families will be in attendance with us.”
Former Brentwood Community Council board member, and LAUSD Board Vice President Nick Melvoin, will be among the award presenters. Additionally, the Los Angeles Fire Department will attend to provide important information on brush clearance requirements in Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones. The meeting will take place at Brentwood Presbyterian Church’s Garden Room, located at 12000 San Vicente Blvd. The complete agenda will be available on the BCC website.
Additionally, there will be a meeting of the BCC’s Homelessness Task Force on Tuesday, June 6th, at the Brentwood Branch Library at 11820 San Vicente Boulevard, in the upstairs community meeting room—more details to follow.
