ATTEMPTED HOME INVASION ROBBERY:
12300 Helena Drive (RD 825) 9/27/08, at 1430 hours
The witness is a maid at the location. As she was taking out some cardboard boxes, she observed two suspects wearing ski masks attempting to break into the guestroom door at the rear of the residence. Suspect #1 stated “Oh shit†when the witness made eye contact with suspect #2. Suspect #2 then pointed a handgun at the witness and started to run after her. The witness entered the residence and advised the owner, who called police.
Suspect #1: Male Unknown 5-8 110-115 unk age, all black clothing with black boots, and a dark mask.
Suspect #2: Male, 5-5, 150-160, unknown age, dark mask with all-black clothing.
Weapon: Brown handgun, (possible 9MM)

ATTEMPTED STREET ROBBERY, (PURSESNATCH) SUSPECT IN CUSTODY:
11800 San Vicente Boulevard (RD 832)
9/29/08, at 1910 hours
The suspect approached the victim and took a bag of food from under her arm while grabbing her left arm with his left hand. The suspect violently pulled the victim and tried to pull her into an alley. The victim screamed for help and was able to break free from the suspect. The suspect fled on foot without any property. Officers located the suspect. A field show-up positively identified the suspect.
Suspect: Wright, James Joseph, Male, White, 57 yrs., Bkg# 1643020 A211PC (Attempted Robbery).

MO: Between 09/27/08 at 0800 and 09/29/08 at 1000, suspect(s) cut the SFR side window screen. There was no entry.
