Enjoy Playgrounds and Fresh Air at Brentwood Science Magnet School’s Revitalized Park
As a reminder, the community park Brentwood Green at the Brentwood Science Magnet School is now open on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from August through November. It is a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends, get some fresh air, and let children play. No dogs are allowed, but it is a pleasant place to spend your Sunday and a community space unique to Brentwood. You can read more information, about the history of the park and donate on the Park’s website.
Brentwood Green was reopened as a community park due to the efforts of LAUSD Board Member Nick Melvoin and his District Director and Senior Advisor Allison Holdorff Polhill, Brentwood Science Magnet School Principal, Reginald Brunson, Larry Watts and the entire board of Brentwood Green, and Brentwood Community Council, spearheaded by chairwoman Carolyn Jordan.
The park relies generous support of the Brentwood community so that the Brentwood Science Magnet School playground and gardens can remain open for play, continue to thrive and blossom, and provide a happy place for children.
To access Brentwood Green, enter though main gate on Gretna Green Way.
