Brentwood Library Delights with Puppet Show Success and Exciting Events on the Horizon

Over Sixty Attendees Enjoy Sailor Sam’s Adventures; Storytime Pause

Maddy Gillette, Children’s Librarian at the Donald Bruce Kaufman Brentwood Library, expressed gratitude in the library’s latest email about this week’s events. Gillette said, “Thank you to all of you who joined us at last week’s puppet show! We had over sixty participants packed into our community room, and all had a blast hearing about the trials and travails of Sailor Sam.”

Of note is the fact that it has been announced that there will be no storytime this week (2/28) or next week (3/6). Storytime is set to make a return on March 13th at 10:30 and 11:30 am.

Here’s a glimpse of what’s happening this week:

  • Wednesday, February 28th, 3-5 pm: STAR Reader Bonnie
  • Thursday, February 29th, 3-4 pm: Brick-Building Playtime
  • Thursday, February 29th, 4-6 pm: STAR Reader Camille

Be sure to check the Library website for teen and adult events as well. There’s always something great going on at the Brentwood Library.
