Kaufman Brentwood Branch Library’s event lineup will focus on genealogy and entertainment this month.
On Saturdays, September 13 and 27, at 2 pm, Librarian Sara Adler will present her Genealogy Basics Workshop to discuss how basic family history research can be done at the library and at home. She will demonstrate how to conduct searches at various websites as well as advanced techniques for researching genealogy.
On Saturday, September 20, at 2pm, Actor and writer Larry Vanderveen will perform his one-man show, “Meeting F. Scott Fitzgerald,” at the Kaufman Brentwood Branch Library, 11820 San Vicente Boulevard. Vanderveen assumes the persona of the legendary novelist as he reflects on his life and work at a Los Angeles book club meeting in December 1940.
