The A.O.C. Wine Bar locations in Brentwood and West Hollywood held a fundraising drive to support Chef José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen’s mission to feed refugees from the war in Ukraine.
On Sunday March 20 and Monday, March 21, 100% of the proceeds from take out dinner orders were to be donated to World Central Kitchen. They took pre-orders to help raise as much money as possible. In total, $4100 was raised for donation in only 2 days at A.O.C. 3rd Street and Brentwood.
The owners Caroline Styne and Suzanne Goin stated that “We are so incredibly moved by the amount of community support that supported our Takeout for Ukraine two day campaign and being able to help the incredible efforts of World Central Kitchen.”
This contribution will undoubtedly help make a difference in the lives of Ukrainians who need food and comfort during this horrific war.
