Once again, the crime rate in Brentwood over the last portion of the holidays was low. With only two reported crimes, this is good news. Of course, there were two burglaries which is concerning.
In the email, Senior Lead Officer Matthew Kirk stated his good wishes for the residents of Brentwood and said, “I hope everyone has a happy and safe New Year!”
Burglary:
- Incident: 12-23-24 0900 Hrs / 12-23-24 1900 Hrs, 11800 Block of Gorham Ave, Suspect(s) smashed the rear glass door of the apartment and entered the location. Once inside the suspect(s) ransacked the location and removed property. The property taken was U.S. currency and jewelry.
- Incident: 12-24-24 0005 Hrs, 11800 Block of Darlington Ave, suspects(s) pried open the lock on the garage storage unit and removed a bicycle.
