Remember DO NOT leave key fobs in your vehicle. Most new cars will not allow you to lock your car with the key fob inside. Also, please don’t leave valuables inside your vehicle,  especially if they are visible from outside the vehicle. Are car parked in a secure parking garage does not make it immune from being broken into.

GTA (Grand Theft Auto

None Reported

Please don’t leave your car unlocked and most importantly NEVER leave your keys in the car.  This makes it way too easy for thieves and they will continue to target the area if the opportunities a readily available. If you own a 2010-2021 Kia or Hyundai be aware that the ignition can be easily defeated and has been posted on social media which has made the rate of these vehicles being stolen skyrocket. If you own one of these vehicles I would recommend a steering wheel lock and/or an ignition immobilizer to make it more difficult to steal.
