Brentwood Weekly Crime Report: June 15, 2025 – June 24, 2025

Assault with Deadly Weapon Leads to Arrest in Neighborhood

Senior Lead Officer Matthew Kirk has released the latest Brentwood Crime Report from June 15 to June 24. In the email, he announced that he will be going on vacation from June 26 – July 28.

Burglary: 

(Commercial) 06-23-25 0450 Hrs, 11700 Block of Wilshire Blvd, suspect(s) smashed front door of  business and removed eyewear. 

Robbery: 

None Reported 

ADW (Assault With Deadly Weapon) 

06-24-25 07:30 Hrs, 11900 Block of Dorothy St, the victim was working in the alley when the suspect approached and began yelling at the victim. The suspect then struck the victim in the head with a metal pole. The victim fell to the ground, and the suspect hit the victim again as he was down on the ground. The suspect then fled the location. 

(Arrest) On 06-24-25 at approximately 17:30 hours, near the intersection of Ohio/Bundy, the suspect was located by citizens who notified LAPD, who were able to take the suspect into custody. The victim suffered a laceration to his head and a broken wrist. 

BFMV (Burglary from motor vehicle)/ TFMV (Theft from Motor Vehicle) 

06-15-25 09:35 Hrs, 1000 Block of Kenter Ave, suspect(s) removed license plate from vehicle parked  on the street.  

GTA (Grand Theft Auto

06-17-25 06:35 Hrs, 500 Block of S. Barrington Ave, a 2024 Jaguar SUV was taken from a parking space

garage.

06-18-25 22:00 Hrs / 06-19-25 0600 Hrs, 11600 Block of Mayfield, an e-scooter was taken from a parking garage.

06-18-25 03:45 Hrs -0400 Hrs, 16300 Block of Sloan Drive, a 2022 Ram truck was taken from

the street.

06-22-25 21:00 Hrs, 12000 Block of Coyne St, a 2025 BMW X1 was taken from the driveway.
