One Robbery and One Theft Incident Logged During the Week
Lead Officer Matthew Kirk has compiled the newest list of criminal activity in Brentwood from May 3, 2025, to May 10, 2025. There is good news as the number of crimes is smaller than normal. But one robbery did involve a physical pursuit.

05-07-25 15:45 Hrs, 100 Block of S. Anita Ave, Suspects drove North on Anita and stopped in front of the victims who were walking North on Anita. Suspect #1 and #2 exited the vehicle, and Suspect #1 chased the victim #1 north on Anita while Suspect #2 chased victim #2 south on Anita. Suspect #1 pointed a handgun and demanded the victim’s purse. Victim #2 was able to get away from Suspect #2.
Both suspects fled in a gray 4-door sedan, possibly a Honda or Toyota, driven by a third suspect. Suspect #1 was described as a male black wearing a black ski mask, grey hoodie, and black pants armed with a black handgun. Suspect #2 described as a male black wearing a black ski mask and, black hoodie. Suspect #3 was described as a male black wearing a black ski mask and black hoodie. The property taken was a purse containing U.S currency.

05-09-25 15:30 Hrs, 12000 Block of Wilshire Blvd, Suspect entered the store and placed a bottle of alcohol inside his clothing and left the location without attempting to pay. Security at the location handcuffed the suspect until LAPD arrived and placed the suspect under arrest for theft.
