Los Angeles Fire Department responds to 9-1-1 call
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded to a 9-1-1 call at 1445 N Bundy Drive on February 24 after concerns were raised about a hillside potentially slipping or moving near homes.
Upon arrival, LAFD crews were assessing the situation, prioritizing the safety of the community. In collaboration with the Department of Building and Safety, a geologist was dispatched to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the affected hillside.
Approximately five homes in the immediate vicinity are being closely communicated with by firefighters to ensure residents are informed and prepared.
By Sunday afternoon, two of the homes were yellow-tagged for safety.
