An Afternoon of Laughter and Magic: Kaufman-Brentwood Library’s 29th Anniversary Celebration – Saturday, July 22nd at 2:00 p.m. In celebration of the library’s 29th anniversary, prepare to be entertained, amused, and amazed by the incredible “El Ropo” (Phil Van Tee). A graduate of the Ringling Brothers Circus School and a former Professor of Magic at the Magic Castle University, El Ropo is a master of comedy and sleight of hand magic. His performance will captivate the audience, leaving them in awe of his mesmerizing illusions. This event promises an afternoon filled with laughter, wonder, and astonishment.
Olive Oil Tasting – Tuesday, July 25th at 6:30 pm. Expand your culinary knowledge with an olive oil-tasting event. Explore the characteristics of extra virgin olive oil and learn how to taste it for balance and flavor. Discover the intricacies of the olive oil production process, explore different olive types (mono cultivars), and gain insights into which oils pair best with various foods.
