In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the Kaufman Branch Library in Brentwood will present an afternoon of poetic monologues performed by seven award-winning actresses this Saturday, Feb. 15 from 2-3:30 pm.

This theatrical performance “There Is No They – Voice of Love and Loss” will be held in the community room of the library, which is located at 11820 San Vicente Boulevard.
Each monologue represents a different period in time and is filled with a range of recognizable and familiar emotions.  The event is free and open to the public.
Meanwhile, a Valentine’s Week Bookstore Sale at the branch will be held Feb. 14-19. Library visitors can “buy one, get one free” at the Friends Bookstore, which is open daily and is located on the second floor of the library.
