Exciting February Unveiled at The Brentwood Library: Puppet Show and More

Luce Puppet Company to Bring Puppet Show to Library Later in February

As January quickly fades away, Donald Kaufman Brentwood Library is already gearing up for an exciting February filled with events and activities for all ages. 

One very notable event on the horizon is “The Splashy Sea Saga of Sailor Sam,” a lively puppet show presented by the Luce Puppet Company. Scheduled for Tuesday, February 20th, at 4 pm, the high-energy performance is expected to last approximately 35 minutes, with additional time allocated for a Q&A session. 

While the puppet show is recommended for ages 3-11, the Brentwood Library emphasizes that the event is open to children of all ages, promising an entertaining experience for everyone.

As part of the ongoing schedule, The Brentwood Library has outlined a variety of events for the current week:

  • Wednesday, 1/31 at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 am: Toddler/Preschool Storytime
  • Wednesday, 1/31, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: STAR Reader Bonnie
  • Thursday, 2/1, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Brick Building Playtime
  • Thursday, 2/1, from  4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: STAR Reader Camille
  • Saturday, 2/3, from  3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: STAR Reader Farnaz

These activities aim to cater to diverse interests and age groups, providing engaging opportunities for learning and entertainment.
